2D materials design

Although graphene has captured a lot of attention recently, there are many other layered materials show similar promise. The non-chemical specific nature of the bonding between layers allows a combinatorial approach to designing new materials, similar to shuffling a deck of cards allowing the design and optimization of new materials.
