Our world is shaped by innovation in materials. Our development is so tied to materials they define the character of each age of mankind. However, the discovery of new materials has historically been a chance event.

Modern theoretical scientific methods have developed to a stage where we can design new materials using computational methods, which has lead to the concept of the materials genome initiative where vast databases of potential materials are being constructed.

However the uptake of the materials-genome-initiative is very limited, and more importantly is not accessible to the wider community.

Here we aim to draw together data scraping; the materials-gnome-initiative and data-mining to provide an all encompassing materials design solution.
